Release of Applify FlowSuite 6.10
And the Introduction of FlowSuite Workflow Agents
Delft, January 2010
Delft, The Netherlands – Applify announced the release of FlowSuite 6.10, a release for its web based print management software that contains a variety of fixes and updates, as well as some new developments. Both on the MIS part (FlowCalc) of the software and on the web portal (FlowOnline) many improvements and developments were achieved.
Customer Focus
Customers take in a central position in Applify’s development track. Many developments are directly driven by customers. An advantage of this method is the short time-to-market of improvements and developments. Besides that, the final product always has a tight fit with the initial customer demands.
Go the Extra Mile with FlowOnline
FlowOnline can be approached from many different angles. This flexibility offers customers the opportunity to implement the software exactly as they require. Some companies just want their users to be able to upload files to existing orders or order from a catalogue of products. The global market trend that the gap between marketing and print providers is narrowing rapidly drives print companies to think more and more as a marketing service provider. In those cases, online document editing and creation is a great value addition to their web environment.
For FlowSuite 6.10 many developments were done on the FlowOnline software. Further integration with FlowCalc and even greater functionality inside FlowOnline form the key words of these developments.
Introducing FlowSuite Workflow Agents
New developments are something to be proud of as a software developing company, especially if they hit right on the target of Applify’s FlowSuite software: efficiency optimization. The FlowSuite Workflow Agent is a rule-based workflow designer that automates work that used by done by users themselves. Using an easy drag-and-drop designer, administrators can design their own automation flow. Agents can be used for simple jobs, but also for very complex tasks, such as automatic email billing of closed orders that meet the specific requirements of the applied agent. Agents can be triggered by events, but can also be scheduled with a timer.
No custom, error-prone scripts are required anymore to automate these kinds of tasks. The Workflow Agent manages the automation tasks from A to Z.
